Resetting a Schlage lock is a simple process that can be completed in a few minutes. It is important to reset your lock if you have lost your keys, if the lock is malfunctioning, or if you want to change the access code.
There are two ways to reset a Schlage lock: using the reset button or using the Schlage app. If you are using the reset button, it is located on the inside of the lock, behind the battery cover.
